Nobody's Perfect

I promised pictures & thanks to my lovely photographer Amanda I'm here to deliver...but I am presenting an asana I did not mention, headstand. Not only is it SO much fun, it is packed with benefits. It improves core strength, digestion, calms the brain, and strengthens arms & much more. CAUTION: DO NOT ATTEMPT UNLESS YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED YOGI OR ASSISTANCED.
As you can see, even instructors have off days. I did not create a proper base as my elbows were too far apart. What I did do right though & what I’d like you to keep in mind is once I realized I was going over I placed my right foot forward to catch me, landing in a semi-backbend which is much better than landing ON your back! (we’ve all done it at least once) Be careful, have fun. Shanti
